NBCSD position opening in IT

Northern Bedford County School District has an immediate opening for a service-oriented, dependable, and motivated Information Technology Specialist/IT Assistant to support the District’s technology needs across multiple buildings.

The position will assist with the installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of computers, networks, communication systems, classroom technology, and other technology used throughout the District.  The successful candidate will also work directly with faculty and staff to resolve technology issues and provide helpful, responsive support.

An Associate Degree in Technology or Industry-Recognized Certification is preferred but not required.  We welcome applicants who demonstrate relevant experience, technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, a willingness and ability to learn new technologies, and positive interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate may be hired as an IT Assistant or IT Specialist based on qualifications and experience.
